Ann believes strongly that divorcing families should do everything they can to minimize the emotional fallout from divorce, so that the experience doesn’t cripple them or their children.
Ann has been practicing exclusively in Family Law for most of her law career. Her current practice is a mixture of litigation, collaboration, and mediation. While Ann is an able litigator, if she thinks a case can be done collaboratively, she will recommend that to her clients. Additionally, Ann is a trained mediator.
Since joining Gutterman Griffiths in 2005 as a shareholder, Ann has been responsible for the firm’s research and appellate work, and currently runs the ongoing in-house training. She is on the Family Law Executive Council of the state bar association and edits the statewide Family Law Newsletter. Last year, Ann won multiple awards for her ground-breaking work on marriage equality litigation.
