Sheila Gutterman is a preeminent, award-winning family law practitioner who is known as the mother of “Collaborative Law” in Colorado. She co-founded Gutterman Griffiths and served as President of the firm until 2014. Sheila is committed to providing outstanding legal counsel and representation to individuals in family crisis.

Sheila has chaired numerous task forces, committees and organizations including the Colorado Bar Association Family Law section; the Metro Denver Barristers Benefit Ball which provides pro bono services in Colorado and the Colorado Judicial Institute. Her distinctions are numerous including the highest ranking for lawyers; lifetime achievement awards and the Athena Award given by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce for her leadership role in her profession and in the community.
